This work speaks to the journey of emergence, from darkness into light, from challenge into clarity. Inspired by the creation story of Rangi and Papa, it reflects the moment light first broke through the void, a reminder that growth often begins in darkness. The wahine at its centre embodies this transition, carrying whakapapa, resilience, and renewal as she moves into te ao mārama. Her journey mirrors our own, through hardship and healing, we return to understanding, strength, and light.
